Japan has a long history of geothermal power with great potential, and the recent governmental pledge to make Japan carbon-neutral by 2050 is a strong driver for renewable power development.
Baseload Power Japan is playing an important part in that development by building small-scale, zero-emissions binary power plants fueled by hot water (“yu” in Japanese).
Not only are our plants resilient in the face of disaster, they are revitalizing local communities because they provide both electricity and a stable supply of hot water. This will enable next-generation spa owners to maintain their businesses, as well as bring jobs and tourism, and enable everyone to join the fight against global warming.
